Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes for 16-18 year olds

Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes

If you’re interested in gaining full time employment, or if you would like to improve your career prospects and qualifications then a pre-apprenticeship course is the perfect route for you. Our pre-apprenticeships are ideal if you have recently finished school and are looking to enter in to work or if you’re looking to take the next step in your career.

What is a Pre-Apprenticeship?

Our pre-apprenticeships are 10 week courses which entitle students to a weekly bursary allowance and on completion of the course we will aim to match you with an employer who is looking for an apprentice to join their team. This will enable you to complete your qualification in a working environment whilst gaining your full Apprenticeship framework.

On the pre-apprenticeship course you will cover and achieve the following nationally recognised qualifications:

  • Customer Service                            - BTEC Certificate
  • Work Skills                                        - BTEC Certificate
  • Managing your own money            - Level 2 Award

 Who are they for?

Our current pre-apprenticeship is for people aged 16-18 and is ideal if you’re wishing to start your career in:

•             Business Admin

•             Retail

•             Information Technology

•             Health Care

•             Customer Service

•             Hospitality

If you are a school leaver, unemployed or looking for a career in a new sector these programmes give you a great chance to earn while you learn.

From March 2012 FSC will be extending the Pre- Apprenticeship Programme to 19-24 year olds. This will be running in our South Tyneside Academy. For further details please contact  Future Strategies on 0191 2628029,  via email web@futurestrategies.co.uk  or via the Enquiry Form  on the website .
