Diamond IT are providers of IT support and consultancy across the North East. Due to expansion we found ourselves in need of additional technicians. We turned to FSC’s apprenticeship scheme to provide a young person with the right qualities to join our team. FSC searched for on our behalf, and found, the ideal candidate. The benefits to Diamond IT of employing an apprentice through the apprenticeship scheme are many but specifically low cost recruitment, our ability to mould our apprentice to our requirements but also employ a young person with IT training.

Our office is extremely busy and it was difficult to find the right person to hit the ground running, we needed someone with confidence and ‘get up and go’ attitude. Together working with FSC, we couldn’t have found a more suited trainee.

Constant support was available from the FSC team, but due to the standard of the candidate this was a minimal requirement. I can happily delegate tasks with complete confidence and we were happy to offer a permanent position with us after the trial period. They now are progressing on to their advanced Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.
