			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Pride of South Tyneside Awards, now in its 10<sup>th</sup> year, celebrates the most caring, brave and talented people in South Tyneside. The awards were held at the Temple Park Centre in South Shields on 22<sup>nd</sup> April 2012 with celebrity guests, including X Factor stars Joe McElderry and Jade Thirlwall.</p>
<p>Future Strategies proudly sponsored the Role model of the Year Award, for the second year in a row. <strong>Adrienne Wilson</strong><strong>,</strong> of South Shields, was named Role Model of the Year and presented her award by FSC employee Sharon McGorrigan (Head of Academy Operations) and Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix.</p>
<p>The 74-year-old began working at Margaret Sutton School in Ashley Road, South Shields, in 1968 and stayed until the day she retired. Adrienne did not have the heart to totally give up her job and she continues to volunteer at the school three days a week.</p>
<p>When collecting her award Adrienne said: “I’m really shocked, I’m shaking. I wasn’t expecting it at all, but it’s so nice to be recognised.”</p>
<p>Sharon McGorrigan said: “Adrienne has worked really hard to give back to the community and it’s a real pleasure to give this award to someone who deserves it so much.”</p>

<li>Working in a busy Estate Agency delivering Administrative and Customer Service support;</li>
<li>Meeting and greeting customers;</li>
<li>Dealing with enquiries both in person and over the telephone;</li>
<li>Using a computerised system to provide information to clients;</li>
<li>Producing sales particulars for clients interested in properties;</li>
<li>Arranging and booking property valuations and viewings;</li>
<li>Liaising with other members of the team to provide a full service such as energy surveys, mortgage advice etc;</li>
<li>Diary Management;</li>
<li>Filing, Faxing and Photocopying;</li>
<li>Dealing with incoming and outgoing post;</li>
<li>Data Entry;</li>
<li>Word Processing;</li>
<li>Maintaining stationery levels.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Good level of general education, especially in Maths and English;</li>
<li>IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages;</li>
<li>Good communication skills are essential;</li>
<li>Willingness to assist customers;</li>
<li>Provide advice and information;</li>
<li>Maximise branch profits by offering additional services which may be relevant as part of the team.</li>
</ul>
