How Do We Deliver?

Whether you are a corporate business with hundreds of staff or you are an individual who is simply looking to develop through your own initiative, the programmes that Future Strategies Consulting Ltd (FSC) delivers can be tailored to your specific training, delivery and funding needs.

All FSC programmes are fully accredited.

Change Programmes for Businesses

Change Programmes enable companies to engage in a 12 week process aimed at delivering training made up of four modules to their staff via a combination of workshops, coaching and assignment work. Impact in the work place is continually evaluated to provide a measurement of success.

FSC’s range of modular accredited programmes provides the ideal format to enhance literacy or numeracy skills, a key component of government learning strategy.

All of our programmes and modules have literacy embedded which means that in many cases full funding can be obtained. This innovative approach – successfully delivered to over 10,000 learners in the last 2 years – ensures that your staff receive the valuable work based skills and knowledge they need along with simultaneously addressing their literacy and numeracy needs.

Workshops

By taking advantage of a workshop delivered by a sector specialist, you bring together the benefit of purchasing individual workbooks, which provide on-going learning and reference, with a face-to-face learning session. This provides the opportunity for rapid learning and the immediate application of learning to the workplace.

Coaching

If you feel you would like some personal support to help you with your studies, we can provide you with a friendly and experienced coach to be there when you need help. We can even offer standalone coaching sessions where you can tap into our vast range of expertise to help you deal with the real issues you are facing.

Train the Trainer

Train the Trainer provides the opportunity to give formal recognition to organisations for in-house training provision. The need for such provision is often derived from the need for large volume training and a cost-effective on-going training strategy.

The Train the Trainer concept provides companies with the opportunity to create self-sufficient in-house training, backed by FSC quality systems and certification. Nominated trainers attend a two-day Train the Trainer event, which provides the essential knowledge and tools required to ensure training is delivered effectively taking into account different learning styles and teaching techniques.

Once equipped with the ‘Train the Trainer Toolkit’ new trainers will attend further one-day events for each programme they wish to deliver. All trainers will answer Structured Questions at the end of each module which, upon successful assessment, will provide a Certificate of Expertise and allow the trainer to rollout the programme following FSC’s quality guidelines. Accreditation can be awarded upon module completion or programme completion.

The new trainer will then be equipped with the knowledge and resources to deliver the programme to their staff and colleagues. An Accredited Certificate is available to learners within the client business upon the successful assessment of Structured Questions and Assignments.

Trainers can prepare their own workbooks for learners from the ‘Trainer Toolkits’ provided or if time and resources are an issue, workbooks can be ordered in advance from FSC.

Training at Your Leisure

a – Distance Learning

Distance learning allows you to access either individual modules or full programmes and to study at a time and place to suit you. The workbooks provide on-going learning and reference for you to keep. You support your own progress and decide when you are ready to answer the three Structured Questions at the end of each module. Once the completed Structured Questions have been marked and verified by an FSC accredited tutor you will be awarded a certificate.

b – Home Learning

Home learning again provides you with the opportunity to study at your own pace away from the office with the use of a workbook and a dedicated tutor who will provide you with ongoing feedback and assessment via the phone or the internet.

c – E-Learning

E-learning is a popular and ever growing vehicle to learning, providing you with on-line access at any time to your chosen programme of study without the need for books or paperwork. The concept is similar to distance and home learning in that you study in your own time and complete the on-line assessment when you feel you are ready. You can track and monitor your progress at any time via your own personalised learning plan.
