Apprenticeship Academy

FSC’s Apprenticeship Academy can help you find a future workforce of skilled and committed employees.

Our Academy programmes are aimed at providing 16-24 year olds with a pathway into lifelong learning and employment. Learners have a unique opportunity to fast track through an Apprenticeship qualification in 5 months, whilst gaining the necessary skills and knowledge required for their desired profession.

FSC can support or develop your organisation’s commitment to lowering unemployment amongst young people. Our Placement Officers are highly experienced in working with organisations to understand their needs and help identify skills shortages, ensuring that only suitable applicants are put forward for your vacancies.

By offering a work placement or employment to an Academy learner you will be gaining an individual who is:

Vacancy Matching Service

Working with FSC on our Apprenticeship or Apprenticeship Academy programmes will provide you with the support, advice and guidance to finding the right apprentice for your business.

The Vacancy Matching Service (VMS) is a free service offered by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), and is for anyone who is advertising or searching for an Apprenticeship vacancy.

FSC will support you in registering a vacancy, and once it is registered on the VMS you will be able to:

• Access a vast database of interested candidates.
• Manage vacancy matching activities.
• Create a national profile of Apprenticeship opportunities.
• Receive regular updates about Apprenticeships.
• Have links to your own recruitment websites.
• Search, view and export applications in your own HR management systems.
• Manage and track the progress of applications.
• Access saved information and applications.
